Wolf Criers Club
Vol 31
Wolf Criers Club Art Challenge Starts Running in One Week
For one week in March — starting on March 17th — Wolf Criers Club is hosting an art-week challenge.
7 drawings for 7 days
The prompts will focus on one theme — this year it’s Irish Folklore.
Those who wish to join can participate by making a drawing and posting on our Daily Substack Thread or by mentioning Wolf Criers Club in Notes. If posting to Instagram or Bluesky, share work with the hashtag #wolfcriersartweek.
All are welcome to draw, paint, or craft in whatever form of art you enjoy and run with us Wolf Criers.
Have no fear. We will be posting wee definitions of these fabled creatures and folk as the challenge approaches. (I’m looking up ‘Aos Si’ like most of y’all)
Kayleen Sokol and Kato McNickle composed this week’s newsletter.
Folklore Challenge illustrations by Michael Luk, Kayleen Sokol, and Kevin Wilkins.
Wolf Criers Club is a collective of illustrators, writers, innovators, and wolves.
We explore aspects of dynamic storytelling each week through pictures and words, how to improve, and where to take it next. Why not run with us?
If you enjoy this post, please share it with arts-minded friends and subscribe or follow Wolf Criers Club on Substack for weekly updates.
